A major remodeling project underway at the Woodbury Kohl's will give the store a new look.
The $1.4 million in improvements include relocating the customer service and gift registry to the front of the store at 7100 Valley Creek Plaza.
Along with LED track lighting throughout the store, the project includes installing new checkout stations, updated restrooms, and fitting rooms with lounges in the Misses and Juniors departments. It also includes new displays to highlight merchandise trends, and redesigning the Home, Juniors, Children's and Jewelry departments, said Kevin Miller, Kohl's district manager.
The remodeling should be complete in early October. It comes as Kohl's gives facelifts to about 50 stores nationwide this year to give customers a "fresh, exciting shopping experience," Miller said.
Kohl's Woodbury store opened in 1994 and was last updated in 2004.
