Rappers have a history of riding around in tanks in music videos. Typically, such a show of over-the-top bravado is reserved for millionaire rappers with big budgets. Safe to say, the crew behind The Tribe & Big Cats! are not multi-millionaires, nor are they trying to showcase their military might. They just want to have a little bit of fun. The Twin Cities crew has shot a stunning new video and it features a real-life military tank(!). For the song, "DMT Flow" (off the recently released "Space" album), the guys spent the day in Kasota, Minn., with a company called Drive A Tank. Apparently, it's one of the only places in North America where civilians can legally drive tanks. The Tribe & Big Cats! heard about the concept from a friend's grandma. In the video, rapper TruthBeTold rhymes for the camera as he barrels down country roads on top of a British war machine. The group's manager, Conrad Schoenleber, summed up the experience like this: "All in all, an awesome day of shooting guns and driving tanks." Watch (some language NSFW):
