July 9, 2012 at 4:54PM

An Irish dance performance on July 22 is the latest installment in Caponi Art Park's summer performance series.

The O'Shea Irish Dancers, a St. Paul dance company, will perform a free show at 6:30 p.m. in the park's Theater in the Woods amphitheater. Costumed dancers will perform soft-shoe and hard-shoe dances, including the slip jig, reel, hornpipe and treble jig, accompanied by live traditional Irish music.

For a sneak peek, children and families can attend a "Family Fun Tuesdays" event featuring the same dance group at 10 a.m. on July 17.

The park is at 1220 Diffley Road in Eagan. For more information, see www.caponiartpark.org. The park suggests a $5 donation from attendees.
