Per the Boston Herald, Kevin Youkilis of the Red Sox is going to get married to Patriots QB Tom Brady's sister. Be careful, as this report is very much written in the style of a gossip column, even if the information sounds legit: Friends report that Youk and Julie met at a postgame party at Patriot Place last year after that other New York team Jet-tisoned the Patriots out of the playoffs. Not a good night for Tom, but a rather good one for his sis!
It will be Julie's first marriage and Youk's second. He was married in 2008, but turns out not legally, to Ben Affleck's ex, Enza Sambataro. They split two years later and she resigned as CEO of his charity, Youk's Kids.
So, now that the Sox corner man is out of the bachelor slump, do we dare think he'll be back to hitting homers at Fenway???
Somebody needs to make a movie out of these sordid Beantown love connections. Can we get Scorsese to direct?
