Adam Weber, Denver: The four-year Gophers starting quarterback, an undrafted free agent, appears to be a candidate for the practice squad.

Rhys Lloyd, N.Y. Giants: Another former Gophers player, he kicked the past three preseason games, but Lawrence Tynes said he is ready for the opener.

Jon Hoese, Green Bay: The former Gophers fullback played mostly on special teams in the preseason.

Isaac Odim, San Diego: The running back was a three-time Division II All-America at Minnesota Duluth.
