'Let It Snow' Really?

Perhaps a little known fact: "Let It Snow" was written in July 1945 in Hollywood, Calif., during one of hottest days on record. If you don't believe us, well, here's some proof.

That proof goes on to say ... due to its seasonal lyrics, it is commonly regarded as a Christmas song. Yet despite its cheery, holiday feel, it is a love song that never mentions the holiday.
