So Kim Kardashian and some other celebs vowed they would stay off Twitter and Facebook until a million dollars was raised for AIDS. They called this "Digital Death," and they were all photographed in coffins.This was supposed to shock us into action, somehow. How's it going so far?
It's about $298K right now. Maybe one of stars kicked in some cash to make it look better, because right now it looks as if people aren't necessarily motivated by the plight of celebrities who cannot post updates or tweets. It's possible they got it backwards: people will pay money to make celebs be quiet.
