Emmy-winning comedy writer Jeff Cesario, who cut his standup teeth in Twin Cities clubs in the 1970s, returns Saturday to the Parkway Theater in Minneapolis for his "Brave New Dad" show. Naturally, the 57-year-old father is excited about his only child's favorite TV show.

"I've got a 2-year-old daughter who loves 'Yo Gabba Gabba' on Nick Jr. -- a kids' show that hipster parents are gravitating to. Jack Black guested on one (my daughter's fave). And Weezer did another. I've done the 'Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,' so appearing on 'Yo Gabba Gabba' is my new goal."
