Golden Valley Arts & Music Festival
New attractions will boost the creative juice of this event. This ain’t your average scribble, with Katie Bush and Jessica Barnd creating images on the ground using chalk. Kids’ activities will be inspired by favorite children’s books. Hennepin County Library’s mobile library cart will be there to issue children their first library card. Also live music, food trucks and literary salon. Lasers will light the sky in a grand finale with beams dancing to music across the Golden Valley water tower. 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat.
