Arrest made in Minneapolis double stabbing case from early Sunday

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a double stabbing in north Minneapolis early Sunday that left one person dead and another person injured.

The boy's name has not been released; he is being held at the Hennepin County juvenile detention center.

Formal charges that would more fully explain what happened in the stabbing have not yet been filed.

A police spokesman said police were called to a house in the 3600 block of Emerson Avenue N. at 2:56 a.m. Sunday. Matthew Edward Heath Little, 23, of Minneapolis was dead and another man was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
