The musical pairing of the Queen of Soul and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice could go down as one of the oddest in recent history.

The two will take the stage tonight at a benefit at Philadelphia's Mann Music Center. Rice, a classically trained pianist, will accompany Franklin on "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" and "I Say a Little Prayer," according to the Associated Press. Rice is also set to play Mozart's piano concerto in D Minor with the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Franklin told the AP that the event will benefit city kids in Philly and Detroit, the Queen's hometown. "We decided to give it a try," Franklin said of her appearance with Rice. "So here we are, in the city of Brotherly — and Sisterly — Love."

Rice will likely not be enticed to joine Franklin behind the mike. "You do not want to hear me sing!" she told the AP.
