Chris Streveler threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third as South Dakota remained unbeaten at home after holding on for a 28-25 victory over Northern Iowa on Saturday in the 100th Dakota Days game.

Northern Iowa (2-3, 1-1 Missouri Valley) entered the game ranked 11th in all three Football Championship Subdivision polls but has lost three of its past four games.

Streveler, a transfer from Minnesota, ran 69 yards for a touchdown in the second minute of the game and put the Coyotes (2-3, 1-1) in front for good by hitting Tacari Carpenter with a 75-yard touchdown pass midway through the second quarter.

North Dakota State 27, Missouri State 3: King Frazier ran for two touchdowns as the Bison remained undefeated with a victory over the Bears in Springfield, Mo.

Frazier had 126 yards on 19 carries for the Bison (5-0, 2-0 Missouri Valley). Easton Stick passed for 159 yards and a score.

Frazier's first TD came on a 22-yard run on first down after Aaron Steidl recovered a Missouri State fumble early in the fourth quarter. Later, he took it in from short yardage to make it 27-3 with 4:51 to play.

North Dakota State netted 428 total yards and held the Bears (3-2, 1-1) to 176 yards.

South Dakota State 45, Southern Illinois 39: Taryn Christion passed for 466 yards and five touchdowns as the Jackrabbits held off the Salukis in Carbondale, Ill. Jake Wieneke, a junior from Maple Grove, caught six passes for 164 yards and two TDs for SDSU (3-2, 2-0 Missouri Valley). Josh Straughan passed for 380 yards and two TDs for Southern Illinois (2-3, 0-2).

North Dakota 40, Sacramento State 7: Brady Oliveira, Austin Gordon and quarterback Keaton Studsrud each surpassed 100 yards rushing, leading the Fighting Hawks (4-2, 3-0 Big Sky) to a victory over the host Hornets (1-5, 1-2). North Dakota amassed 625 yards of offense, 422 on the ground.
