Applications open for St. Paul's Right Track jobs program

Hundreds of summer jobs available for city youth.

The City of St. Paul on Monday began taking applications for its Right Track youth jobs program. Interested youth ages 14 to 21 can apply online at righttrack.stpaul.gov.

Right Track provides summer jobs and internships for young people who are from a low-income family or have a barrier to employment. Right Track jobs and internships begin June 20 and run 6 to 9 weeks, depending on the position. In 2015, Right Track provided St. Paul young people with more than 600 summer jobs and internships.

Applications must be submitted online no later than February 28.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE? St. Paul youth ages 14 – 21 who are from a low-income family or have a barrier to employment.

WHAT ARE THE WAGES? Right Track workers are paid at least $9 an hour

HOW MANY HOURS DO RIGHT TRACK WORKERS WORK? Right Track workers average 15 hours per week depending on the position.

WHEN DO JOBS START? Most jobs will begin June 20 and end August 19 depending on the position.
