Making videos, 1980s style

When it comes to recording video, we're spoiled. These days, we have HD capabilities right on our smartphones. If you miss the simpler times of grainy VHS, take a look at an app called VHS Camcorder. The $3.99 download for Apple devices allows you to record video like it's the 1980s all over again — complete with fuzzy static and warped audio. You can also time stamp (remember when videos did that?). The best selling point from the company: "Make your kids' incredibly boring school plays actually watchable."
