Another Destructive Nor`easter Unfolding

A Nor'easter is gathering strength off the mid-Atlantic coast today, dumpingmore rain over coastal areas and more snow in the Appalachians. Similarproblems that were encountered during the last storm can be expected in similarareas, while this storm may have an impact on even more people!Coastal flooding threatens areas from New Jersey through Massachusetts again,including in Atlantic City, New York City, and on Long Island. Gusty onshorewinds could add to wave heights at high tide, creating the problems. A soakingrain will further add to concerns of flooding and perhaps even road closuresthis weekend.For places along the I-95, dreary weather are in store with more of chilly rainand windy conditions expected to last into Sunday.

Meanwhile, heavy, wet snow may down trees and cut power again in theAppalachians. Snow will fall in some of the mountains of New England that haveyet to be whitened this year!Story By AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Meghan Evans.
