Another abuse suit filed against Benedictine Order

For the second time in eight days, a lawsuit was filed against the Benedictine Order at St. John's Abbey accusing it of covering up the sexual abuse of a student at St. John's University 25 years ago.

The suit was filed Wednesday in St. Cloud by a "John Doe," who alleges that he was molested by the late Rev. Bruce Wollmering, the Rev. Finnian McDonald and Brother John Kelly. All three also were named in last week's suit.

St. John's Abbey has issued a statement pledging to investigate the allegations, adding, "We do not tolerate sexual misconduct in any form."
