Anoka-Hennepin school board to interview finalists

The Anoka-Hennepin school board will interview candidates next month for the District 3 seat vacated by John Hoffman, who was elected to the state House of Representatives.

The board received 10 applications and could interview as many as five people for the post. Interviews are from 5 to 10 p.m. Jan. 10 at the School Board Room at Sandburg Education Center, 1902 2nd Av., Anoka. Interviews are open to the public.

The candidates are:

Social worker, volunteer Grace Baltich, Champlin; Dr. Jeff Baumann, Coon Rapids; former Champlin City Council Member Gregory A. Payer; physical therapist Lisa Sanchez, Dayton; special education paraprofessional Gregory Tomlinson, Coon Rapids; music booster Bill Harvey, Champlin; former educator Bradley A. Johnson, Champlin; small business owner Timothy D. Kroening-Smith, Champlin; substitute teacher and volunteer Suzanne M. Scheller, Champlin; software engineer James Stephen Sebesta, Champlin.
