DULUTH, Minn. — A disgruntled cable customer who threatened to bomb the Charter Communications office in Duluth has pleaded guilty to a reduce charge in an agreement with prosecutors.
The cable customer service office was evacuated in July 2012 after Steven Saari threatened to blow it up. The 28-year-old Duluth man was charged with making terroristic threats. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespassing Monday. Prosecutors have agreed to recommend three years of probation when Saari is sentenced Sept. 5.
The Duluth News Tribune (http://bit.ly/1545dFD ) says Saari was accused of making telephone threats to Charter in Rochester and Duluth, then showing up at the Duluth office.
