An infielder and a contortionist

Senior Paige Cero just recently completed her final season as a member of the Rosemount softball team. Here is a closer look at the Irish second baseman:

The best movie I've seen in the past year? "Tangled." I didn't even want to go see it, but my friends made me and I loved it!

Three songs I never skip on my iPod are? "Love Story" by Taylor Swift; "The Show Goes On" by Lupe Fiasco; "E.T" by Katy Perry.

Three words my friends or teammates might use to describe me? Energetic; entertaining; spontaneous.

How did you balance school and sports during the year? I took advantage of free time and a study hall.

At my first varsity practice, I felt ... excited! I had never played with these girls, only against them.

How did you get started playing the sport or sports you play now in high school? I played softball along with every other sport when I was little. Softball dominated my attention because it became a neighborhood event. All the girls and their dads participated.

What was your most memorable moment as a high school athlete? Playing in the section championship against Eagan my sophomore year.

In 10 years, I hope I'm ... graduated from college and a part of a successful company.

Do you have a secret talent?

I can dislocate my shoulders and contort my body in weird ways that gross people out. I love seeing people's reactions and their attempts at trying to be like me.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
