Now open, or opening soon.
"Jersey Boys" ticketholders, listen up: St. Paul's American Burger Bar has opened its Minneapolis outpost, across the street from the Orpheum Theater. The emphasis is, naturally, on burgers: half-pounders, done up in beef, bison and turkey, finished with a huge list of mix-and-match toppers (fried eggs, grilled shrimp, caramelized onions) and served until 2 a.m. Happy hour means $3 off all appetizers (chili-cheese tater tots, grilled shrimp skewers), and because co-owners Eric Sandrock and Brad Ireland are former Embers guys, there's also a diner-style breakfast. Full bar.

After sitting idle for far too long, the former Bobino is back in business (the intimate space still enchants), this time as Rachel's. Restaurateur John Rimarcik (Monte Carlo, Convention Grill) is at the helm, with an old-school menu that includes seven burgers, corned beef hash (served, yes, with a cling peach), peel-and-eat shrimp, crispy-skinned chicken wings and what are surely the world's largest ham-salad and egg-salad sandwiches. Top price: $14.95. Full bar. Dinner for now, Tuesday through Saturday.
