The winner of "America's Got Talent" Season 11 was crowned on Wednesday, and the name came as little surprise to avid viewers.

After scoring millions of votes for her gutsy folk performances, Grace VanderWaal took home the million dollar prize and opportunity to headline a show in Las Vegas.

VanderWaal burst into tears when her name was announced, as host Nick Cannon asked if they were "tears of joy."

The 12-year-old singer-songwriter then captivated the audience at the season finale with her original audition song, "I Don't Know My Name."

"I have to say she reminds me a lot of me in a lot of ways," Fleetwood Mac singer said afterwards.

Closing out its 11th season with impressive ratings, "America's Got Talent" features eight-time host Cannon, and judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell.
