America's favorite pie: Cherry? Apple? Pumpkin? The envelope, please

When it comes to pie, apple takes the cake.

A survey by Minnesota-based Schwan's asked respondents to name their three favorite pie flavors.

Apple took a large slice, with 47 percent, according the survey results, released today. Add in apple crumb, and the all-American fruit's total jumps to 72 percent.

Pumpkin came in second at 37 percent, chocolate cream was third with 32 percent. Cherry came in fourth with 27 percent.
