Amanda Hocking event rescheduled

Illness forces postponement of her Bookcase of Wayzata appearance; rescheduled for Aug. 30.

Amanda Hocking, author of the Trylle trilogy, is ill and has canceled her appearance tonight at the Bookcase of Wayzata, where she had planned to read from her latest book, "Wake," just out from St. Martin's Press.

Bookstore events coordinator Jane Polson said that Hocking will be at the store at 7 p.m. Aug. 30.

Hocking is also scheduled to speak at 7 p.m.Wednesday at the Central Park Amphitheater in Woodbury, sponsored by the Woodbury Public Library. Katie Bassel, Hocking's publicist at St. Martin's Press, said Hocking plans to be there, health permitting.
