Idaho State is taking advantage of the Vikings' bye week to induct Jared Allen into the ISU Sports Hall of Fame tomorrow night. The school said Allen will also be at the team's game Saturday against Montana in Pocatello, and will have his No. 41 jersey retired.
It's safe to say Allen is probably the best NFL player to come from the ISU program. He won the Buck Buchanan Award as the top defensive player in what is now Football Championship Subdivision (then NCAA Division IAA) in 2003.
The Bengals have a tough game Saturday against second-ranked Montana.
