SECOND TEAM

Guards

Matt Ambriz, Woodbury, sr.

The sharpshooter carried over an excellent AAU season into the high school season. Averaged nearly 25 points a night, scored a season-best 36 against Lakeville South.

Geno Crandall, DeLaSalle, sr.

The Islanders' floor general put defenders on their heels. A streaky shooter who created plenty of space. Crandall also posed problems on the defensive end of the floor.

Andre Wallace, Eden Prairie, sr.

The school's second-leading career scorer (1,442 points) averaged 19.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists as a point guard.

Forwards

Sam Neumann, Cretin-Derham Hall, jr.

Had the size at 6-6 to look over defenders and bury the three-pointer. Career 1,000-point scorer averaged 21.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.

Brennan Witt, Champlin Park, sr.

Tenacious competitor on a balanced team. Witt was active in all aspects of the game, averaging 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.
