At long last, all lanes of Hwy. 169 across the Bloomington Ferry Bridge will be open tonight

The northbound lanes opened for morning rush hour commuters and that made for a smooth drive to work. At times the trip from Canterbury Road to 494 was taking only about 6 to 9 minutes, or about half of what it had been taking.

Ramps from Hwy. 101 to 169 as well as those at County Road 21, Old Shakopee Road and Pioneer Trail also will open tonight.

Note that the ramp from westbound Hwy. 101 to northbound Hwy. 169 will close at 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday to allow crews to re-stripe the ramp.
