A man rolled his car into a ditch in southern Minnesota and was killed, authorities said Tuesday.

The crash on the northeast side of Albert Lea occurred about 8:30 p.m. along Hammer Road between Paradise and Sorenson roads, police said.

The driver was identified as Jason C. Kraft, 45, of Albert Lea.

Police say Kraft did not have on a seat belt and drinking may have been a factor in the crash.
