Aitkin County missing since November returns home

Alexis Elling, 16, had been last seen at home in November.

An Aitkin County teen who was last seen at home nearly two months ago is back home safe, state authorities said.

Alexis Elling, 16, of Onamia, had left her home on Nov. 11, according to the alert put out Friday by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. She returned and is safe, a BCA update said Wednesday.
