Twins players are still raving about Byung Ho Park's massively-long home run on Saturday. His 462-foot home run is the second longest in Target Field history to the 464-foot home run Jim Thome dented the a flag pole with in 2011.
Third baseman Trevor Plouffe said there's only a few players he knows of who could hit a ball as far as Park's.
``Josh Hamilton, Thome, Miguel Cabrera and Giancarlo Stanton," Plouffe said.
Byron Buxton continues to make progress after being hit in the left hand with a pitch on Thursday and could return to the lineup on Monday against the Brewers.
No lineup changes today, as manager Paul Molitor goes with the lineup that has contributed to the first two wins of the season. And Kurt Suzuki remains the No. 1 catcher. Molitor feels that Suzuki was among the hitters really pressing at the plate during the nine-game losing streak to open the season. So he's getting a second day off today.
Can't blame Molitor for sticking with the hot hand. Eduardo Nunez has reached base in 11 of his last 14 plate appearances.
