Chase Budinger will make his season debut tonight against Phoenix in a late 8:30 p.m. ESPN game at Target Center.

So said Rick Adelman before tonight's game.

He said he expects Budinger will be limited by the team's medical staff to about 15 to 20 minutes playing time.

"We'll see how it goes," Adelman said. "He hasn't played for a year. Got to watch him and see how he reacts to it."

Budinger's return follows Ronny Turiaf's return on Monday in Philadelphia.

"We have more options now," Adelman said.

Adelman said he has talked to Budinger a number of times and said Budinger's biggest concern is not his knees but the rest of his body because he's trying to get ready to play without the benefit of a training camp.

"He's just sore," Adelman said. "It's going to take him a little bit of time and it's going to take our guys to figure out what he can do."
