Selma Blair was taken from a plane on a stretcher following a mid-flight outburst on Monday.

The "People v O.J. Simpson" actress was on a Delta flight with her four-year-old son returning from Cancun, Mexico, when the incident happened, according to People.

Blair, 43, was met by paramedics at Los Angeles International airport and taken to a nearby hospital.

A representative for the actress did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment.

Witnesses who were also on the flight told TMZ that Blair was seated in first class with her son, Arthur Saint, drinking wine, when she started crying and talking about her fears regarding an anonymous man.

"He burns my private parts. He won't let me eat or drink," she reportedly said. "He beats me. He's going to kill me."

Two nurses on the flight reportedly checked her bags for pills before the pilot called ahead to report that a passenger on board was mixing medication with alcohol, according to TMZ.

After starring in films such as "Cruel Intentions," "Hell Boy," "Legally Blonde" and "The Sweetest Thing," Blair most recently appeared on the FX series "American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson" as Kris Jenner.
