KANSAS CITY, MO. -- In a game between two very similar teams, the Chiefs are winning 15-10 because Ryan Succop has made all five field goal attempts after coming into the game 2 of 5.
Succop tied Jan Stenerud and Nick Lowery for the most field goals in a game in Chiefs history. And the way this offense is going, I sense at least a sixth field goal coming in the final 15 minutes.
As for the Vikings, it's more and more stupid penalties. They went three-and-out before the Chiefs' last scoring drive because of a penalty for an illegal shift. That negated a 16-yard pass to Visanthe Shiancoe and led to a three-and-out.
