SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

It looks like Vikings general manager Rick Spielman made the right move trading Gerald Hodges to San Francisco three weeks ago to clear the way for rookie linebacker Eric Kendricks. The second-round draft pick out of UCLA was nominated for Rookie of the Week for the second straight week on Tuesday. Kendricks had six tackles, two sacks and three tackles for a loss in the Vikings' 28-19 win over Detroit, last Sunday. He was beat out by teammate Stefon Diggs for last week's honors.
