SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Vikings coach Mike Zimmer gave his players homework for their regularly scheduled day off. On Monday, Zimmer said he asked the team to watch film of Atlanta on Tuesday and come ready to prepare for their Week 12 opponent on Wednesday. When asked if it was normal practice that he required players to watch film on the off day Zimmer said, "A lot of times, yeah, I'll do that. I'll tell them to do that." Though a minor detail, the extra study time will be important during this difficult stretch in the final six weeks of the season.
Mike Conley was in Minneapolis, where he sounded the Gjallarhorn at the Vikings game, on Sunday during the robbery.
