Every weekday, we walk you through what’s going on with the Vikings.

— Center John Sullivan is bummed he is going to miss Packers week, but he vowed to return from his back injury by the start of next season.

— The Vikings signed tight end Dominique Jones to the practice squad after tight end Chase Ford scored a 53-man roster spot with the Ravens.

— Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has looked mortal recently.

— In this week’s Access Vikings podcast, we discussed the heroes of the Raiders game, whether the Vikings are the NFC’s most complete team and previewed this weekend’s showdown against the slumping Packers.

—Here are four theories and a goofy guess as to why Rodgers is struggling.

— Wide receiver Jared Abbrederis is not claiming to be the answer to the Packers’ offensive woes. But he hopes he can provide more big catches.

— No, holder Tim Masthay didn’t block that Mason Crosby miss Sunday.

Coach Mike Zimmer and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will be on the podium at 11 a.m. The Vikings will start practice at 1 p.m.

Adrian Peterson had one of the plays of the week against the Raiders when he rushed for an 80-yard touchdown. He broke a tackle and turned on the jets, reaching 21.17 miles per hour on the way to the end zone, according to the NFL’s Next Gen Stats. That was the third-fastest time they clocked on a touchdown in Week 10 and the fastest for a running back. The two guys ahead of him? Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Cordarrelle Patterson, who scored on a 93-yard kickoff return for the Vikings. Anyway, that’s not too shabby for a 30-year-old running back.
