Every weekday, we walk you through what's going on with the Vikings.

WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED

— Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater isn't going to be confused for Michael Vick, but he has been using his legs to make plays in critical spots.

— Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers believes Bridgewater and the young Vikings are on the verge of making this is a legitimate rivalry again.

— Left tackle Matt Kalil was the only player who didn't practice yesterday.

— Veteran cornerback Terence Newman became the second straight Vikings defender to be named the NFC's Defensive Player of the Week.

BEHIND ENEMY LINES

— Rodgers was limited in yesterday's practice due to a sore shoulder.

TODAY'S VIKINGS SCHEDULE

Coordinators Norv Turner, Mike Priefer and George Edwards will be on the podium after the walkthrough at 11 a.m. The Vikings practice at 1 p.m.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Nose tackle Linval Joseph has made 42 tackles this season, which leads all NFL defensive linemen, according to Vikings public relations. Through nine games, he is already just five tackles shy of his total from last season. He is on pace for 75 tackles, which would be 16 more than his previous career high of 59, which he reached in consecutive seasons with the Giants. Joseph has never been selected to a Pro Bowl, but that could change here shortly.
