BEHIND ENEMY LINES

— Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers has 10 wins and 30 touchdown passes, but generally this has been panned as a down year for Rodgers.

— The Packers are fighting to cut down turnovers after fumbling three times and throwing one interception last Sunday.

— Banged up Packers show signs of improvement with cornerback Sam Shields and right tackle Bryan Bulaga practicing on Wednesday.

TODAY'S VIKINGS SCHEDULE

The Vikings have changed up their usual Thursday practice schedule. They will practice at 11 a.m. instead of the afternoon, giving players a chance to get out of the building faster so they can celebrate the holiday.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer will coach at Lambeau Field for the fifth time in his career on Sunday and said it's easy to understand why it can be so difficult for visiting teams win there. "It's more about the mystique and I've played there four times," Zimmer said. "It's just a cool atmosphere really. Their crowd is good and things like that, and usually they have good players. That's part of the problem."
