The Vikings moved undrafted rookie fullback Zach Line to injured reserve. Coach Leslie Frazier didn't mention Line in his rundown of injuries today, but whatever is, um, ailing Line was well timed (wink, wink) in that it clears a roster spot for Pro Bowl fullback Jerome Felton to return from his three-game suspension for violating the league's policy of substances of abuse.

Line, a surprise in training camp and the preseason, where he caught two touchdown passes including a 61-yard rumble, helped Rhett Ellison fill in for Felton during the first two games. Ellison's hyperextended knee kept him out of Sunday's Browns game, leading to Line played 25 snaps on offense. He was targeted on one pass, but didn't have a reception.

For the season, Line had one catch for eight yards.
