About the pedestrian plan

PEDESTRIAN PLAN

The public is invited to attend workshops in the coming weeks to help Hennepin County develop a plan to encourage more walking along its county roads. Components of the county's strategy include better infrastructure, more education and law enforcement. For more information and updates, see hennepin.us/pedestrianplan.

• Crystal, Aug. 15: Community Center, 4800 Douglas Drive N., 6 to 7:30 p.m.

• Excelsior, Aug. 28: Gray Freshwater Center, 2500 Shadywood Road, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

• Dayton, Sept. 4: Location pending, 5 to 6:30 p.m.

• New Hope, Sept. 11: City Hall, Council Chambers, 4401 Xylon Av. N., 7 to 8:30 p.m.
