Position: Split time at first base and designated hitter last season for Tampa Bay.

Last season: Had 59 extra-base hits — more than any Twin — including 30 home runs for the Rays.

Career: Made his major league debut for the Angels in 2014 and played four seasons for Los Angeles before he was traded to Tampa.

Big-league totals: 89 home runs, 287 RBI, .260 average in 548 games.
