First came Kevin Costner's water-purification pump. Now another Oscar-winning director who has some expertise (albeit successful) with all things watery is aiming to fix the oil spill: King of the World James Cameron. The Toronto Globe and Mail reports that Cameron will meet with deep-ocean experts this week to brainstorm ideas, accompanied by "underwater innovator" Phil Nuytten, who built the submersibles for Cameron's "The Abyss." Let's guess: The groundbreaking concepts will cost an arm and a leg, and a strong woman will lead them! Okay, the guy does know his stuff, what with that "Titanic" thing, and such documentaries as "Ghosts of the Abyss," "Expedition: Bismarck" and "Aliens of the Deep." Meanwhile, Victoria Principal has offered $200,000 of her former "Dallas" money to help with the cleanup.
