Before he hit it big in Hollywood -- big enough to create the series "Dirty Sexy Money" for ABC -- Craig Wright pondered some thorny ethical and spiritual questions at United Theological Seminary. Next weekend, Wright returns to the New Brighton, Minn. campus where he earned a master's of divinity degree in 2002.

He is to deliver keynote lectures on religious themes in contemporary culture on April 28 and 29 at United Seminary. The convocation will also feature new United Seminary president Mary E. McNamara.

Wright's early plays were championed by the Jungle Theater, which produced "Molly's Delicious," "The Pavilion," "Orange Flower Water" and "Recent Tragic Events."

In Hollywood, he has had success as a writer-producer for "Six Feet Under," "LOST," "Brothers & Sisters" and "The United States of Tara."

Wright was given the 2009 Horton Foote Excellence in American Playwriting Award.
