A real turkey of a weekend locally

November 27, 2014 at 3:05AM

What to expect for the Twin Cities:

Thursday: Lots of sun, a high of about 14 degrees with some late-night snow.

Friday: Shoppers can expect slick streets and sidewalks and another dusting of snow. Warming to the mid-20s.

Saturday: A little warmer yet, with a high approaching 40.

Sunday: Heaviest travel day of the holiday weekend, so leave plenty of time if you're flying or driving. Highs will drop to the mid-20s with a low of about 4 and lots of wind.

Monday: It's back to work and school with dry roads, temperatures in the teens and a windchill of minus 5.
