Q: Why did you want to do this gig?

A: I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I don't think it's necessary for Prince to show up. Just to celebrate the spirit of the event is enough. And Bobby Z is a great cat.

Q: What kind of music will you spin?

A: Six degrees of Purple. It'll be vinyl with Serato [a software program]. This is one of the few times I can go deep into [rare] cuts.
