Five-year-old Honesty, who was recently adopted, played in a petting zoo during the 16th annual Celebrate Adoption event held by the Minnesota Department of Human Services on Sunday in Oakdale. The event recognized hundreds of recent adoptions and promoted the adoption of hundreds more, particularly adolescents and sibling groups who are waiting for permanent families.
