You may have noticed a new face on your Sunday Whistleblower page - Kelly Smith is the newest member of the Whistleblower team. After six months with a rotating team of reporters investigating your tips, we decided that more continuity would serve you better. Kelly came to the Star Tribune in 2010 and most recently covered West Metro schools. Prior to that, she worked at The Forum in Fargo, N.D., and at the St. Cloud Times. Kelly is an award-winning reporter, who has been named the Minnesota Newspaper Association New Journalist of the Year and the North Dakota Newspaper Association's Rookie Reporter of the Year.

Kelly works Tuesdays through Saturdays, and can be reached at kelly.smith@startribune.com or 612 673-4141. You can also reach the Whistleblower team (Kelly, Jane Friedmann and myself) at whistleblower@startribune.com.
