A list of what the Royals won't be doing

An incomplete list, admittedly.

Don't blame the writer. It's difficult to write about people who don't do anything but show up and wave. Here's a rundown of what the royal couple will and will not be doing in California:

Whew! Sounds exhausting. But there's more: they won't be showing up at a British-themed pub.

The couple is expected to not go to In-and-Out, will not go to the zoo, and will not climb atop the Hollywood sign and shout wooo! In short, their visit will look nothing like a musical montage from a romantic comedy. How disappointing.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat. It’s too soon to tell how much the immigration crackdown is to blame.
