A handful of downtown Minneapolis streets remain closed

The Hennepin Avenue Bridge is open, but a few streets near where a water main broke Thursday remain shut down.

While several streets closed off Thursday when a water main broke in downtown Minneapolis have reopened, a few remain closed Friday afternoon.

Hennepin Avenue from N. 1st Street to Washington Avenue.

N. 2nd Street from Hennepin Avenue to 1st Avenue N.

S. 1st Street from Hennepin Avenue to Marquette Avenue.

West River Parkway from 4th Avenue N. to Portland Av. S.

Some Metro Transit buses will still be on detour for the afternoon rush hour. Affected routes will be posted at http://metrotransit.org/Mobile/NewsItem.aspx?articleID=1213
