Every year, Oromo people from across the globe come together for a celebration. This year's international conference was held in Minneapolis. About 700 to 1,000 people joined in the celebration Saturday. In Minnesota, the Oromo people make up the second-largest group from East Africa. About 30,000 to 40,000 people of Oromo descent call the state home.
