A fresh jolt: Our favorite coffee photos of the week

March 13, 2016 at 2:46AM

Bean scene: For many people, coffee is just caffeine — an especially needed jolt this week due to daylight savings time. But for others, a cup of hot coffee is something to be cared for and appreciated.

It's a ritual: choosing the right beans, deciding on the right brewing method, picking the right coffee shop. The work of a few of our favorite purveyors are featured in the photo gallery, including Groundswell in St. Paul, Urban Bean in south Minneapolis, Peace Coffee in downtown Minneapolis, and Spyhouse.

Pour us another, please.
